Puget Technologies, Inc is primarily a 3D printing company, but it has expanded into the cannabis industry. While most of its operations deal with acquiring, developing, and selling end-consumer 3D devices, it has also created a subsidiary dedicated to marijuana research and development. In addition, it acquired an energy drink company and now delves in that sector.
Puget Technologies’ business in the 3D printing industry is carried out through the company’s partnership with Shenzhen Weistek, a manufacturer of 3D printers and related printing materials. Shenzhen Weistek is based in Guangdong, China and exports its products to the US. To handle the distribution and sales of the 3D printing products, Puget created a subsidiary named Weistek USA in February 2014.
The company’s product roster now includes the Snapsearch 3D scanning app, the PrintSnaptic 3D software, the Ideawerk 3D Printer, and the Eco-fil 3D printer filament. Puget Technologies opened an eBay store to sell these products to its consumer market, and it has also started to ship out the products to the customers who have ordered.
On the marijuana front, Puget Technologies has the subsidiary Cannabis Biotech, which conducts research and development of cannabinoid-based treatments. Established in September 2013, Cannabis Biotech has already produced cannabinoid nasal spray and skin patches. It is also developing cannabis-infused beverages.
Along this line, Puget Technologies also acquired in September 2013 an energy supplement company named B-29 Energy, Inc. Puget is now developing and distributing the various B-29 energy drinks.
Puget Technologies was founded in 2010. It is now traded as PUGE in the OTC markets, and has a market cap of USD 3.19 M.
Based in Houston, Texas, the company’s top executive is Mr. Gary Valentine, who is both its CEO and President.
